One Coventry City fan decided to celebrate their FA Cup semi-final defeat against Manchester United in unique fashion.
The Championship side took on last year’s finalists at Wembley last Saturday (April 21) and were narrowly beaten 4-2 on penalties after coming back from 3-0 down against Erik ten Hag’s side by scoring three goals in 25 minutes, including a 95th minute penalty equaliser thanks to Haji Wright.
Sky Blues fans believed they’d completed an almighty comeback after Victor Torp got on the end of Wright’s cross to finish past Andre Onana in the 120th minute to lead 4-3.

After moments of mass celebration, the goal was investigated by VAR, who found Wright to be offside. The goal was chalked off with the game instead going to penalties where United came out on top thanks to Rasmus Hojlund’s spot-kick.
Despite the crushing loss, Coventry did their supporters proud with their spirited performance and gifted them a moment they’ll never forget when they believed they booked a place in an FA Cup final for the first time since 1987.
