Financial details emerge as Ipswich Town close in on ambitious Premier League transfer
Ipswich Town have reached an agreement with Bournemouth for Kieffer Moore
Bournemouth’s Kieffer Moore will be loaned to Ipswich Town, with a potential bonus payment if Ipswich gains promotion to the Premier League.
Ipswich Town beat Sunderland and Cardiff City to secure the loan signing of Moore, who will be one of their highest earners.
Ipswich are currently second in the Championship table but are in poor form, making the signing of Moore important for their promotion hopes.
Bournemouth have agreed a deal to loan Kieffer Moore to Ipswich Town for the remainder of the campaign.
According to Alex Crook, the deal will involve a bonus payment to the Cherries if the club gains promotion to the Premier League.
Moore is set to make the switch to the Tractor Boys as he seeks greater playing time in the second half of the campaign.
The 31-year-old has made eight appearances for Andoni Iraola’s side so far this campaign, all of which came from the bench.
He will be hoping to impress Wales boss Rob Page ahead of the national side’s major Euro 2024 play-off qualifier later this year.
Kieffer Moore transfer latest
It is understood that Ipswich have won the race to sign Moore from Bournemouth, amid interest from Sunderland and Cardiff City.
The Suffolk club had an initial loan offer for the striker rejected earlier this month, but have now secured a temporary move for the player.
It is believed that the impending arrival of Enes Unal has opened the door for Moore’s departure.
Ipswich are also set to cover up to 75 per cent of the player’s wages during his time at Portman Road, which will make him one of the team’s highest earners.
