Player ‘will go to England tomorrow’ for Hull City medical – Agent travelling with him to complete ‘official signing’
It appears that Hull City are getting ever closer to signing Abdülkadir Ömür, as the player and his representative are set to travel to sign with the Tigers.
That’s according to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who took to X, formerly Twitter, to reveal the latest on the situation surrounding the Trabzonspor player.
The journalist explains that the 24-year-old and his agent ‘will go to England tomorrow’, where the future Hull City signing will undergo his medical and the then ‘official signing’ of his new contract.
This comes a few hours after Arun Ilicali came out to reveal that he and those at the club really wanted to complete the transfer for the player, who will cost them around €6m.
The move may seem surprising, since Ömür had been a very important part of Trabzonspor over the course of the first half of the season, even captaining them once in a 3-3 draw against Sivasspor.
However, it seems the allure of English football, at a club with a strong Turkish core such as Hull City, was simply too good to pass up one.
