BREAKING: Cleveland Browns Sign 14 Touchdown Offensive Weapon For 2024 Season
On Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns signed an offensive weapon for the 2024 season. The Browns have added several pieces to the offense this offseason to help the unit be more competitive in the playoffs next year when paired with an elite defense.
The Cleveland Browns added help for the offense
The biggest addition came from a trade with the Denver Broncos for wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. They also added running back Nyheim Hines. Following their decision to move on from Joe Flacco, the team signed quarterbacks Jameis Winston and Tyler Huntly to backup Deshaun Watson.
The Browns signed D’Onta Foreman
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Browns signed another running back to add depth to the backfield. Former Chicago Bears running back D’Onta Foreman will join the group.
The Browns needed RB help this offseason
Foreman will join a unit that includes Jerome Ford and Nick Chubb. Chubb is coming off an ACL injury, so adding help at running back needed to be a priority for the Browns this offseason.
The Houston Texans drafted Foreman in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Foreman has run for 2,822 yards and 14 touchdowns in his six-year NFL career. He ran for 381 yards and four touchdowns with the Bears last season.
