Report: Titans To Hire Randy Jordan As Running Backs Coach
NASHVILLE — Titans coach Brian Callahan reportedly found his running back coach. According to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Titans are hiring Randy Jordan as their running backs coach. Jordan joins the staff of Callahan in Nashville after spending 10 seasons as a running backs coach with the Commanders. He started under Jay Gruden and was retained by Ron Rivera. Callahan hired Jordan after Dan Quinn became the new head coach of the Commanders.
Jordan started his career as an assistant coach in 2003 with the Raiders. He then spent 10 years coaching running backs at Nebraska, Texas A&M, and North Carolina before 2014 he joined Gruden’s staff in Washington. Jordan played nine seasons in the NFL with the Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars before he started coaching. Jordan has close ties with Brian’s father, Bill, who is expected to be the offensive line coach with the Titans. Bill previously coached Jordan with the Raiders and also hired him at Nebraska while he was the head coach. RELATED TITANS STORIES TEE HIGGINS OPEN TO
