Titans To Interview Dolphins Eric Studesville To Be Offensive Coordinator

NASHVILLE — Miami Dolphins associate head coach/running back coach Eric Studesville reportedly will interview for the Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator role under new coach Brian Callahan, according to an ESPN report.

tenured Dolphins assistant and has been retained by Brian Flores and got promoted when Mike McDaniel took over for Flores. McDaniel elevated Studesville to associate head coach and removed the run game coordinator title after the 2021 season. The Dolphins led the league with 5.1 yards per rushing attempt this season. In his ninth year in the league, Raheem Mostert had a career year with personal bests in carries, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns. He finished the season with 18 rushing touchdowns, the most in the league.

Rookie De’Von Achane broke the NFL record for running backs with at least 100 carries by averaging 7.8 yards per carry. Callahan and Studesville’s relationship goes back to Callahan’s first NFL job. Callahan and Studesville were both part of the coaching staff for the Broncos team that won Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers in 2015. The pair spent six seasons in Denver working together. The Titans are also reportedly scheduling an interview with Jacksonville passing game coordinator Nick Holz for the offensive coordinator role.
