Can the Guardians roll with the pressure? Why Deshaun Watson should play Saturday: Terry’s Talkin’ podcast
CLEVELAND, Ohio — It’s a new episode of the Terry’s Talkin’ podcast with cleveland.com columnist Terry Pluto and host David Campbell. Today we look at the Guardians as they try to work out of their offensive doldrums and stay out front in the American League Central.
We also get into why the Browns need to give Deshaun Watson substantial action in Saturday’s preseason finale in Seattle. And we talk about three new rules that every NFL team should follow for the rest of time.
Also, some foul ball stories from listeners, and fondly remembering the play of Marquis Grissom.

Welcome to this week’s edition of the Terry’s Talking Podcast. I’m David Campbell, your host. I am joined as I am every week by Mr. Terry Pluto. What’s going on, Terry? Another week, middle of August.

Another week. Yep, another podcast and we are all set. Another Browns preseason game where there was really hardly anybody worth watching in that game. And the preseason is coming. To an end this week, I hope.

Yeah, I can’t believe like it’s. It’s August 20th already and I know we were talking about your next library appearance, which is August 29th and geez, that’s a week from Thursday already. We’re moving right toward Labor Day. Why don’t we talk about that real quick so people can go to that? It’s Thursday, August 29th at the Niles McKinley Library.

Well, you don’t have to worry. The starters will play in that one, which is me. So, and I plan to go the whole distance. Even if I happen to get hurt, like, you know, I stumble over a chair or something. I promise to finish. Yeah. I’ll be at the McKinley Library in Niles at 6 PM. It’s a neat place. I think I’ve been there the last, I don’t know, eight or 10 years, except perhaps during a pandemic year. So it’s a lot of fun. Come on out. an older building. I mean, you do feel like.
