It has been a slow start to the January transfer window for both Cardiff City and Swansea City. The Welsh clubs are yet to make a transfer 20 days into the month.

Bluebirds boss Erol Bulut is desperate to add to his ranks, with the club on the periphery of the Championship play-off spots and his squad currently down to the bare bones. He has just 15 first-team players fit for the trip to Plymouth Argyle this weekend, with injuries to the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Callum O’Dowda robbing the Turkish boss of the quality needed to mount a sustained promotion push.

Swansea, meanwhile, have just appointed a new head coach meaning their recruitment has been impacted by the month-long uncertainty in the Swansea.com Stadium dugout. Luke WIlliams is now in situ and will be looking to make up for lost time in the last two weeks or so of the window.

But there are plenty of teams around them that have been busy. With that in mind, we’ve looked at the deals that every Championship club have done thus far.

1. Leicester City – The Foxes are yet to complete a deal in the window.

2. Ipswich Town – Ipswich have been busy in the loan market so far, securing the services of Jeremy Sarmiento and Lewis Travis, from Brighton and Blackburn Rovers respectively, until the end of the season

3. Southampton – Saturday’s visitors to the Swansea.com Stadium have signed youngster Joe O’Brien on a permanent deal from Cork City and recently announced the loan signing of Joe Rothwell from Bournemouth.

4. Leeds United – Despite being linked with the majority of the Welsh squad, Daniel Farke’s men are yet to make a signing.

5. West Bromwich Albion – The Baggies have made one signing thus far, securing a loan deal for Bristol City club captain Andreas Weimann until the end of the season.

6. Coventry – Mark Robins’ side have also made one signing, securing the signature of Danish midfielder Victor Torp, for a fee estimated to be around £2million.

7. Sunderland – Despite being linked with several names, and their fans being shown chanting for the side to sign a striker, the Black Cats are yet to make a signing.

8. Watford – There has also been no incomings at eighth-place Watford.

9. Hull City – The Tigers’ solitary January signing has been a loan deal for Liverpool’s Fabio Carvalho until the end of the season.

10. Middlesbrough – Michael Carrick’s side have completed two deals so far this window, with the permanent transfer of Finn Azaz from Aston Villa in a fee rumoured to be around £2.5million, and the loan signing of Luke Ayling from fellow Championship side Leeds United.

11. Norwich City – The Canaries are also yet to make a signing.

12. Preston North End – There has also been no new arrivals at Deepdale.

13. Cardiff City – As previously mentioned, Bulut’s side have had no incomings thus far.

14. Bristol City – There has been some movement across the River Severn, with Liam Manning’s side making Taylor Gardner-Hickman’s loan spell permanent, as well as securing the loan signing of Scott Twine and Adam Murphy, with the youngster joining from Irish side St. Patricks.

15. Swansea City – Williams is still yet to make the first signing since taking over the manager role.
