Tottenham have made shock bid for ‘one of the best’ players in the Premier League this summer
Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of improvement this summer has seen them look to make a statement move after making an offer for one of the Premier League’s top players.
Ange Postecoglou‘s first campaign at Tottenham saw the Lilywhites make their return to European football for the upcoming season.
However, the final weeks of the term showed their was still a lot of room for development with their Champions League push really coming off the rails.
Harry Kane‘s sale last summer has naturally created a huge void in the Tottenham squad when it comes to scoring goals.
Heung-min Son was able to provide Spurs with a healthy return by Daniel Levy‘s big-money investment in Richarlison is yet to really pay off.
And it now seems as if Levy is ready to offload the Brazilian in order to bring in one of the Premier League’s top forwards.
Tottenham offer interesting proposal for Premier League striker
Tottenham’s summer transfer window has gotten off to a mixed start with players leaving the club but only one arrival so far.
Levy and Postecoglou have made a good start to clearing the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium of any unwanted players ahead of the new campaign.
However, it is only Timo Werner to come through the doors as an arrival with a new loan deal secured for the German forward.
But the club are looking to change that as they have now made a proposal for one of the most impressive players in the Premier League.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham put forward an offer of Richarlison plus cash for Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
The Toon are in need of generating some cash before the end of the month, but Eddie Howe‘s side will naturally be looking to keep the Sweden international at all costs.
It would be a seriously impressive move if any Premier League side was able to prise Isak away from Newcastle this summer.
TBR Football understands that the Magpies are looking to tie Isak down to an extended contract.
Alexander Isak could become one of the best in the world
It has to be remembered any move for Isak is going to cost a club a considerable sum of money.
The Swede arrived at St James’ Park for a club-record fee of £63m in 2022 and has since proven himself within the Premier League as one of the top strikers.
Isak returned 25 goals last season for Newcastle with 21 of those coming in the Premier League and has already netted four in three games against Spurs.
“It’s hard to describe, you don’t need me to tell you he’s so so gifted, he can be one of the best players in the world,” Anthony Gordon told TNT Sports last season.
