EXCLUSIVE: Dolphins Number One RB Raheem Mostert Has His Personal Goals Set Straight For The Upcoming Season – “My Personal Goal Is To Be First-Team All-Pro”

The Miami Dolphins’ star running back, Raheem Mostert, is setting the bar high for himself for the 2024 NFL season.

Coming off the back of a career-highlighting season, he is now setting his sights even higher: “My personal goal is to be first-team All-Pro,” Mostert disclosed in a recent interview.

Mostert believes this goal to be both a personal standard and a challenge that he is determined to meet this year.

“It’s a goal that I’m chasing this year. I feel like if I stay healthy and we all perform up to the level that we are all capable of, we can accomplish some great things,” Mostert said during his interview with Sportskeeda.

Born and raised in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Mostert has come a long way to becoming a vital player in the Dolphins’ team.

If Mostert manages to keep his health and performance at an optimal level throughout each of the 17 games of the season, he possesses enough prowess to achieve an impressive 100-yard rush.

This accomplishment would establish a new benchmark for future running backs looking to break records.

However, the likelihood of this also hinges on Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins’ coach, who’s expected to unveil the running back-by-committee approach this season.

After playing for four different teams in his first two seasons, Mostert landed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016, which kickstarted a six-season run, culminating in a journey to the Super Bowl following the 2019 season.

Following his tenure with the 49ers, Mostert moved to Miami, accompanied by coach Mike McDaniel, on a one-year deal.

This move saw Mostert achieve the two most productive years of his career, rushing for a career-high 1,012 yards and setting a new Dolphins franchise record with 21 total touchdowns in 2022, surpassing receiver Mark Clayton’s 1984 record.
