‘Concrete steps’ made for Roberto De Zerbi today – Club hope to reach agreement for Brighton manager

It’s no secret that Bayern Munich have been having some difficulty appointing their new manager, as options like Xabi Alonso and Ralf Rangnick aren’t keen on taking the job.

Now according to reports fresh from the Italian media, the Bundesliga giants have set their eyes on the boss of Brighton & Hove Albion.

TuttoMercatoWeb today writes that Bayern Munich are moving forward to sign Roberto De Zerbi, having ‘intensified contacts’ to bring him to Germany.

It’s said those ‘concrete steps’ took place on Thursday, with some contact made with the Brighton coach’s entourage.

According to the report, there will be further work for a ‘definitive agreement’ with the manager in the coming days.

The German media is still to say something about that chase as well, so it’s just TMW out there alone at this point.
