Football transfer rumours: José Mourinho to be new Brazil manager? | José Mourinho | The Guardian

£32m Tottenham player wanted by two Spanish clubs plus Champions League team

Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon seems likely to depart Spurs again following his return to N17 from Manchester United.

And with the January transfer window in full swing, there appear to be plenty of suitors for the Tottenham full-back’s services.

The Red Devils confirmed on Thursday that they have activated the break clause in Reguilon‘s loan deal to send him back to Spurs.

According to talkSPORT, Spurs will either loan out the 27-year-old again or sell him in January.

As Reguilon hasn’t played for Tottenham this season, he is allowed to feature for another club team.

Now, according to Rudy Galetti, two Spanish clubs are in pursuit of the former Real Madrid man.

The journalist, taking to X, also spoke of Borussia Dortmund’s interest in the Spurs defender.

Galetti said Dortmund want to sign a new left-back to go along with their seemingly imminent acquisition of Jadon Sancho.

The Champions League last-16 club is also in talks with Chelsea for Ian Maatsen, added the reporter.

Reguilon is a player with ‘incredible‘ talent and potential, who sadly hasn’t quite been able to make his mark at Tottenham since his £32million move back in 2020.

Let’s see what happens in the coming weeks. There’s always the possibility that Ange Postecoglou decides to take a look at him, and it would be great if that was the case.

However, with Tottenham having Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies and Ryan Sessegnon as options at left-back, there’s a good chance that Spurs will indeed part company with Reguilon again.
