2025 guards Mia and Mya Pauldo weigh NIL and coaching relationships as they get set to visit Tennessee
Class of 2025 guards Mia and Mya Pauldo are set to head to Knoxville on June 25-27 for an official visit with the Tennessee Volunteers.
The Morris Catholic High School (NJ) stars plan to continue their playing careers together at the next level and their recruitment process will reflect that. 247Sports talked to both of the prospects as they explained to us that they are a “package deal” for any school recruiting them.
Let’s state the obvious and get it over with. Gauging the career potential of almost any new 2023 starter much less newcomer based on last season is…not worthless, but not really reliable, either. Bulldog football was in such a discombobulated condition, it seems unfair to judge anyone at any position.
But that’s exactly what this look-ahead attempts. New Mississippi State management means new opportunity for everyone to prove their worth in Jeff Lebby’s scheme of things. Or, recognize the need to find another address. Either way it is up to the Bulldogs to raise their 2024 game and do it now.
So, then. Who from one lost season has best chance to be a winner this fall? Let’s start a summer series by looking at the second-year Dogs, whether true sophomores, redshirted freshmen, and even ’23 juco recruits. Later will be a look at which juniors and seniors have the most to gain or really most to prove in preseason.
Creed Whittemore, wide receiver
One of the seven true ’23 freshmen who got regular playing time, this is the easiest projection possible. First, because when he was given the chance to make plays last fall he did. And he did so early on flashing so much September potential despite being second in the slot receiver depth chart behind a darned good veteran.
