Arsenal and Manchester United considering move for ‘special’ £5m talent who Brighton want to sign

Arsenal are looking to the future and are now looking into potentially signing a young star who’s got himself onto Brighton’s radar.

Brighton have become well known in recent years for making signings who then go on and become superstars and ultimately bring in big money for the club.

Recent seasons have seen the likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo do just that.

However, while Brighton have that impressive scouting network, they could now face a battle with Arsenal to sign the next young talent on their list.

And that young talent is teenage Ivory Coast winger, Bazoumana Touré

Arsenal keen on Hammarby winger Bazoumana Touré

According to a report from The Mirror, Arsenal have joined a number of Premier League clubs who are keen on signing Toure.

The 18-year-old is still an emerging talent over in Sweden but has established himself with Hammarby already, scoring six goals in 16 appearances last term.

The Swedish side are believed to want at least £5m to let Toure go and given Premier League riches, that is pocket change.

Arsenal are one of the teams keen on the youngster, with Manchester United and Brighton also looking heavily into signing him.

There’s no question that Arsenal are looking the business right now but they obviously have one eye on the future as well with links to players like Toure.

Internally, they have young superstars like Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly emerging from the ranks to make an impression.

But like any big club, looking externally is equally as important and someone like Toure is obviously catching the eye early on in his career.

Of course, Toure is very much a raw talent but given the likes of Brighton have him on the radar, you’d suggest he has a big future.

There is still mutual respect between Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola because they are close friends, but there is no love lost between the players.

That was proven during Manchester City and Arsenal’s recent meeting, which ended in a 2-2 draw and a lot of talking points.

Some big hitters were missing for that match, with Martin Odegaard absent for Arsenal and Kevin de Bruyne unavailable for the other side.

Whilst Odegaard is still trying to climb the tree, it’s obvious to all that de Bruyne is one of the best midfielders to have graced English football.
