Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin had a birds eye view of the top seed San Francisco 49ers as his team lost 27-10.
McLaurin is one of the success stories from a poor Washington season, with the franchise going 4-12.
“It’s definitely tough. I mean, you want to be a part of something that sustainable and you’re winning and competing at a high level,” McLaurin told Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post.
“You know, they’ve got a great staff over there. They’ve got great players. You can tell they love playing together. . . . Hopefully, I can be a part of something like that, but I’m just focused on myself, my world and my journey and I’m going to keep working to be the best player I can be.’”
The Commanders will have an eventful offseason with new coach and player personnel set to invade the capital.
