During his season-ending press conference, Rooney II said, “I think there’s an urgency. I think everybody, myself, Mike (Tomlin), guys that have been on the team for a while, T.J. We need to get back to playing football deep into January and hopefully February.”Steelers GM Khan embracing expectations of new role | AP News

You are extending the same head coach who has failed to win a playoff game 11 of 13 years. You are extending the defensive coordinator. You are reinserting a QB who got benched at the end of the previous year. And the new offensive coordinator, Arthur Smith, has exactly the same mentality on that side of the ball as the current head coach.
