The Red Sox are in an intriguing spot and have been linked to seemingly every pitcher available in free agency at this point. One player who has popped up on numerous occasions as an option for the Red Sox is Cuban right-hander Yariel Rodríguez.
Rodríguez is just 26 years old and has eight years of professional baseball experience under his belt. He most recently spent time with the Chunichi Dragons of Nippon Professional Baseball but didn’t pitch in 2023. Rodríguez has a career 3.07 ERA across his eight years of work.
