Hull City v West Brom injury and team news – seven ruled out of Championship clash
West Brom travel to the MKM Stadium to face play-off rivals Hull City in the EFL Championship on Saturday.
The Baggies are on the television once again with the match taking place at 12.30 pm. It will be broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event and on Sky Sports Football with coverage beginning at 12.00.
One point and one place seprates the two sides ahead of kick-off. West Brom are on 55 points to Hull’s 54 and a win for Carlos Corberan’s side would give them some breathing space against a side breathing down their necks. Coventry City play Preston North End on Friday night and they’re just four points behind West Brom and so the best result would be a draw to avoid any teams narrowing the gap on them.
Both Hull and West Brom were in action in midweek and won their respective fixtures. Hull City claimed an impressive 2-1 win against Southampton who still harbour hopes of an automatic promotion spot. West Brom were 3-0 victors at Home Park defeating Plymouth Argyle.
Hull City and West Brom have injuries to contend with and both bosses will be without some of their key players for this clash. Here’s the latest injury and team news below.
West Brom team news
John Swift and Kyle Bartley will both be available for selection at the weekend. Swift suffered a knock against Plymouth Argyle and had to be replaced by Grady Diangana in the 65th minute. Kyle Bartley has missed the last three matches with a calf injury but is now set to return and bolster the defensive options.
