While making an appearance on WXYT on Thursday, Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes discussed how they are in discussions of a contract extension for quarterback Jared Goff.

Jared Goff is in the final season of a four-year, $134 million contract ($110 million guaranteed) he signed as a member of the Los Angeles Rams. He has looked well in his career as the former first-overall pick has gone 66-50-1 while completing 67.3% of his passes for 30,429 yards with 185 touchdown passes to 82 interceptions.
Goff is a three-time Pro Bowler and is preparing for a potential Super Bowl run after losing in the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco Giants.
