The new arrival signed a loan deal until the end of the season from parent club Standard Liege and is primed to make his debut against Millwall at the MKM Stadium on Saturday with City returning to action after their two-week break.

Ohio has scored goals at youth level in England, and in Belgium’s top flight as well as on the international scene with the Netherlands’ Under-21 side, but is unproven at Championship level. He hopes to hit the ground running and help City’s quest for a place inside the Championship’s top six, starting with this weekend against the struggling Lions.Hull City Q&A recap with Tigers boss Liam Rosenior as Championship season draws nearer - Hull Live

“I’m in the Championship in a team that’s fighting for the play-offs and I think I’ve come back to England at the right time because it’s the right coach, the right environment for me to grow,” he told Tigers+. “I’m really excited to grow, really excited to get playing, to get on the pitch, smell the grass and taking in the atmosphere. I’m really excited to do that, I just want to play football and have a nice time and help my teammates as much as I can.
