Green Bay Packers Receive Shocking Admission From Pat McAfee

The Green Bay Packers received a lot of media criticism for making the decision to trade Aaron Rodgers and move on to Jordan Love. It was a tough move for the franchise to make, but the timing was right. Pat McAfee was one of the media members who had a major issue with the Packers making that decision.

Since the move was made, the Packers have to feel even better about their decision. Love has taken control of the franchise and has them in a position to get into the playoffs with a win in Week 18 over the Chicago Bears.

No one gave Green Bay a chance to get into the playoffs. They were already written off without Rodgers.

After a slow start to the season, the criticism got even louder. The media was already calling for the Packers to move on from Love. In the aftermath of all the noise and criticism, Love has performed like an MVP down the stretch of the season and has shut up all the haters.

On Friday, McAfee opened up about his criticism of the Packers and general manager Brian Gutekunst. He actually even admitted that his take on the situation was dead wrong.

While some may not love McAfee, he has become the most popular talk show host in sports. He runs an entertaining program with tons of great and connected guests. It doesn’t get much better than the Pat McAfee Show.

However, it’s also good to know that McAfee will stand up and admit when he’s wrong. The Packers have thrived following the Rodgers trade. It’s a tough situation, but Love has made the most of it and proven that he’s the long-term guy for the Green Bay Packers.

All of that being said, it will be interesting to see what happens in Week 18. The Packers have a massive opportunity in front of them and hopefully Love and the team capitalize on that opportunity.
