Transfer Deadline Day often sees teams up and down the country scramble for some last minute deals as they look to strengthen their options
Transfer Deadline Day is heating up as the clock ticks towards 11pm.
Hollywood-backed Wrexham have been the busiest buying side in the EFL, bringing in two new faces in Jack Marriott and Luke Bolton while Aston Villa have strengthened with the signing of Morgan Rogers
Rogers heads to Villa Park for a reported £15million having scored seven goals and made nine assists for Boro this season with Unai Emery’s side finally getting a deal done having had three bids rejected.
Middlesbrough have also sent defender Bryant Bilongo to National League strugglers Ebbsfleet United on loan for the rest of the season while Boro sold Calum Kavanagh to Bradford. Arsenal forward Charles Sagoe Jr has gone to Championship side Swansea City on loan
Alex Pritchard has got his move away from Sunderland, joining Birmingham. The Black Cats had announced at the end of last week Pritchard had informed the club he was no longer available for selection and wanted to leave Sunderland.
Nottingham Forest, who have spent wildly at times in the last 18 months, have also been busy on Transfer Deadline Day, bringing in 18-year-old striker Rodrigo Ribeiro on loan from Sporting Lisbon for the rest of the season.
The transfer window closes at 11pm on Thursday (February 1) as teams look to strengthen for the final stages of the season.
