2 Nuggets Players Are Reportedly Pushing For A Russell Westbrook Trade
Russell Westbrook may have played his last game with the Los Angeles Clippers but where will he end up next?
There is a good chance that Westbrook will move to the Denver Nuggets, according to multiple reports.
Joey Linn is stating, per Legion Hoops, that both Nikola Jokic and DeAndre Jordan are “pushing” the Nuggets to trade for Westbrook.
It’s not clear how they are pushing their team or if the front office will listen, but they are obviously very eager to play with Westbrook.
The Nuggets just lost Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, a sharpshooter role player who helped them out a lot.
Perhaps Jokic and Jordan see Westbrook as a suitable replacement for him and think he could assist them in returning to the Finals.
Everyone knows that Westbrook can be a mixed bag, able to help the team but also prone to being hot and cold and making some poor decisions on the court.
Still, many of the people who have played with him hold him in high regard, which means he is obviously a good teammate and creates strong relationships with the stars he appears with.
Which version of Westbrook would the Nuggets get?
Would they receive the former MVP who never gives up and tries his hardest or would they get the player who doesn’t make smart decisions and suffers from plenty of shooting problems?
The Nuggets may not even listen to Jokic and Jordan but there is a chance they hear their opinions and it influences them moving forward.
Westbrook is likely leaving the Clippers but does that mean he is going to suit up with the Nuggets?
