The Tennessee Titans sidelined a Possible Starting players Off the PUP List During Week 2 of Training Camp

The Tennessee Titans’ most intriguing storyline surrounding the offense is how they will handle their starting offensive line throughout training camp. As of now, the Titans currently have three starting spots locked in. JC Latham looks to start at left tackle, Peter Skoronski looks to start at left guard, and Lloyd Cushenberry III looks to start at center.

They have a fierce right guard competition between three players, and the right tackle spot is waiting for their former 3rd round pick, who is recovering from an injury.

Jeffery Simmons: Update on Tennessee Titans DL's social media blackout

Nicholas Petit-Frere had an underwhelming 2023 season. The NFL suspended him for the first four games because of gambling. The NFL activated him on Week 5, but he was inactive since Chris Hubbard had a solid start to the season.

The Titans benched Andre Dillard in Week 6, and Petit-Frere filled in at LT. He started at RT in Weeks 8 and 9. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 9 that required surgery.

Petit-Frere recovered from his shoulder injury but underwent a knee procedure during the offseason, and because of that, he missed offseason workouts, OTAs, and mandatory minicamp. He wasn’t quite ready for the start of training camp. As a result, the Titans placed him on the active/PUP list.

According to Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com, Petit-Frere passed his physical and the Titans activated him off the PUP list.

Callahan hopes Petit-Frere will be ready for Friday’s practice, per Jim Wyatt.

Once he returns to practice, he will compete for the starting right tackle job against Geron Christian Sr., Jaelyn Duncan, Leroy Watson IV, and John Ojukwu.

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons went viral on Tuesday morning and not in a good way.

The 27-year-old lineman found himself in the middle of controversy after he berated local radio host Buck Reising during a live broadcast from Titans training camp for some things he allegedly said on social media.

Twenty-four hours later after some reflection, Simmons owned up to his actions and addressed his unhinged behavior.

Simmons and Reising were seen chatting before practice on Wednesday and the two appear to be on good terms now.

It’s not clear exactly what Reising said that set Simmons off, but he wasn’t the first member of the Titans media that drew the ire of the former first-round pick.

Simmons had complained previously about how liberal some of the team reporters were with their criticism of the Titans players, and he took exception to a few of them being critical of the team’s signing of 28-year-old safety Jamal Adams.
