Leeds United sign all formal documents on Luis Sinisterra transfer as £20m news emerges – Romano
Luis Sinisterra’s permanent exit from Leeds United is on the verge of being made official, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Itallian journalist reported via X (9 February) that Bournemouth and the Whites have completed all the formal documentation to make Sinisterra’s stay on the south coast a permanent one, after Phil Hay’s update on Thursday 8 February.
There will be an official announcement of Sinisterra’s exit from Elland Road “today.”
His move to Bournemouth will be sealed for a fee of £20million.
Time for Leeds United and Daniel Farke to move on
Bringing in £20million for a loanee in the middle of the season could be seen as good business, and those funds might end up going a long way when the summer transfer window opens.
Sinisterra has hardly featured for Bournemouth so far during his loan spell, making just four starts in the Premier League, scoring two goals and providing two assists across his 17 total appearances.
Therefore, it is perhaps a surprise that the Cherries have decided to make his stay permanent before assessing him for an entire season. However, for Farke and Leeds, it is for the best.
The 24-year-old did well at Elland Road, scoring eight goals and providing one assist in just 26 appearances for the club.
