Hull City handed big injury boost as major Liam Delap update emerges
The Tigers are missing just Liam Delap and Jean Michael Seri for the weekend visit of the Swans
Hull City will welcome back Aaron Connolly and Cyrus Christie from injury for this weekend’s home clash with Swansea City at the MKM Stadium, as Liam Rosenior’s men look for a third successive Championship victory.
Connolly has missed the last two Championship games with a concussion and then a shoulder injury picked up when he was flattened by Norwich City goalkeeper Angus Gunn on January 12, while defender Christie has not been available for the last three league outings.
City head coach Rosenior will also be able to call upon Adama Traore for the first time since New Year’s Day after the Mali international returned from the Africa Cup of Nations, having lost in the quarter-final against Jean Michael Seri and the Ivory Coast, while there was positive news on Liam Delap’s knee injury.

Cyrus is back in full training. Aaron Connolly is back in full training. Adama’s back from international duty, it was their first day of training today (Thursday), so we’ll have to assess how they respond to training today,” Rosenior told Hull Live. “We’ll see how they are tomorrow (Friday) and we’ll pick a squad from that. All three of them could be involved.
“When you think about Sunderland, when we played Sunderland, I think we had four teenagers and I mean, Stan (Ashbee) and Olly Green, Tyrell (Sellars-Fleming), Harry Vaughan, Allahyar who is a little bit older but still now he’s no longer at the club (on the bench).
