All the talk around Wrexham has surrounded promotion to League One but Ryan Reynolds does have plenty of other things on his plate.

Last weekend’s 6-0 win against Forest Green Rovers saw Wrexham return to third-tier action for the first time since 2005.

That’s back-to-back promotions for Wrexham and the project is certainly going well for Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.

The pair are receiving major praise for their work at Wrexham, not only breathing new life into the club but also Wrexham as a place.Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson expects 'tough game' - as fan leaves US for first time to watch team play | UK News | Sky News

McElhenney and Reynolds do have other things on their plate though with both men prominent in so many areas.

For instance, McElhenney has a bar and a whiskey brand alongside being part of Adim, an entertainment-tech company.

Reynolds is involved in so many business ventures that it’s difficult to even note them all, but despite the rise of Wrexhams’ story, their primary focus remains their acting careers.

As for Reynolds, he is again poised to star as Deadpool with Marvel announcing Deadpool & Wolverine, pairing two of their biggest characters together.

Reynolds has now posted the first trailer for the film on Instagram, with some eagle-eyed Wrexham fans potentially spotting a familiar face.

One moment in the trailer appears to show Wrexham striker Ollie Palmer in the background with Reynolds calling in the giant forward for a brief – and easily undetectable – cameo.
