Leeds loanee plays just eight minutes in big relegation clash, situation not improved despite January decision
There were some rumours that a couple of Leeds United’s loanees were going to return to the club in January.
Luis Sinisterra had been touted for an early end to his loan spell at Bournemouth after a limited amount of starts in the first half of the season, however that situation could not be anymore different now.
Sinisterra is starting the majority of Bournemouth’s matches and they are now keen to make his move permanent. A return to Leeds at any point seems highly unlikely.
Brenden Aaronson was the other player who was rumoured to be returning to Elland Road, and is said to have had conversations with Daniel Farke. He made it clear he wanted to stay and fight for his place at Union Berlin.
Despite that, it would appear his situation has not changed even after his show of commitment to the German club, as he played just eight minutes last night.
Aaronson plays just eight minutes for Union
Union made the trip to Mainz in a crucial match at the bottom of the Bundesliga, with both sides currently occupying a place in the division’s bottom four.
Aaronson’s side do have a six-point cushion of Mainz and a 1-1 draw is certainly better for them than their opponents, but as for the Leeds man, it’s yet more limited involvement.
