Baltimore Orioles’ Triple-A Team Sets Records With Mind-Boggling Box Score In 26-Run Win

The Baltimore Orioles have the top farm system in Major League Baseball. Especially on the Triple-A level.

Their top MiLB team could probably beat the Oakland A’s and/or Chicago White Sox at this rate!

Its AAA organization, the Norfolk Tides, were absurdly dominant in a 15-run win over the Charlotte Knights on Wednesday. They set O’s affiliate records for most home runs, runs and hits in a single game.

The box score of the 26-11 victory was insane— so much so that it is worth breaking down player by player.

Holliday, Norby, Kjerstad and Mayo are 25 years old or younger. Stowers, Burdick, Castillo and Bañuelos are 26 or 27. Robinson is 29.

The future is clearly very bright for the Baltimore Orioles. They iare already one of the youngest teams in baseball and it has a deep, remarkably talented farm system on which to rely for years to come.

It’s so good that there isn’t enough room for all of the talent on its MLB roster.

To put up 26 runs is bonkers. To do so while batting around the order at least seven times is truly outrageous. That rarely happens in baseball. Especially not on the Triple-A level.

Don’t look now but the Orioles’ dynasty years are on their way!
