Four former Crimson Tide players have been chosen as replacements since the original Pro Bowl Games lineups were announced. Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. joined the AFC roster after Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby had knee surgery, and Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs joined the NFC roster with 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey going to Super Bowl LVIII.

Kelly also was a Pro Bowler in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
