REPORT: The Cleveland Browns Placed their 2-Time All-Pro Offensive Lineman on the PUP List
The Cleveland Browns six-week break is finally over. Rookies reported to training camp on Monday, while veterans reported Tuesday. Their first day of practice is Thursday, and Sunday, August 4, is the first day fans can observe.
The Browns entered training camp with many players recovering from their injuries, including their All-Pro offensive lineman.

Jack Conklin exited in the second quarter of their 24-3 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. An MRI confirmed that he tore his ACL and MCL. As a result, he missed the rest of the 2023 season.
He faced a long recovery and has missed offseason workouts, voluntary OTAs, and mandatory minicamp. He isn’t quite ready
The Browns placed Conklin on the active/PUP list. He will count against the 90-man roster and isn’t allowed to practice. If he does practice, the Browns must activate him to the active roster. Jedrick Wills Jr. exited the third quarter with a knee injury in their 27-0 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9. An MRI confirmed that he sprained his MCL. He underwent knee surgery and missed the rest of the season.
He begins training camp on the active/PUP list. Once he returns to practice, he will compete against Dawand Jones for the starting left tackle job.
