1 Milwaukee Brewers Starting Pitcher Suddenly “50-50” To Be Ready To Start The Season
The Milwaukee Brewers starting pitching depth was tested a season ago as Brandon Woodruff missed significant time, Aaron Ashby did not pitch, and Adrian Houser, Wade Miley, Julio Teheran, and Eric Lauer all missed time with injuries.
Heading into 2024 Milwaukee’s starting pitching depth may not be as deep as a season ago. Ace Corbin Burnes has departed and Brandon Woodruff will miss most and potentially all of the season. This moves Freddy Peralta up to the number one starter, Wade Miley second, and then any of Colin Rea, Joe Ross, DL Hall, Janson Junk, Aaron Ashby, and potentially Robert Gasser as options to round out the rest of the rotation.
Recently it was announced that one of these projected 2024 starting pitchers has a 50-50 chance to be ready to start the season.
Wade Miley may not be ready to start the regular season.
