Who choose to donate the prize money to the parent club Hudiksvalls HC.

Representatives from Svenska Spel, SHL and the media vote every month for the Player of the Month in the series. Last month, Rickard Hugg, among a total of five selected players, received the most votes.

AIK fell heavily in the first game of the year

Skellefteå AIK wanted to start from scratch in 2025.

First period

The expulsions were close in the first few minutes where FBK had the game 5 against 3 for a short while. However, there was a lot of sloppiness in the passing game and it came to nothing. Incidentally, the home team were at least as careless in their power play.
It took until the seventh minute before some sharp scoring chances were created. Viktor Lodin was completely free near the goal but Linus Söderström in the home goal made a strong save. Oskar Lindberg had the next chance but Max Lagacé in the FBK box saved. Marian Studenic had a similar situation that Lodin with Söderström saved again

It was a very intense and physical game, Alexander Ljungkrantz had to leave the ice after a heavy tackle.
In the thirteenth minute, Magnus Nygren unleashed the big cannon but the puck went high on the right post.
