Sheffield Wednesday striker Michael Smith is on the radar of Wrexham, according to The Star. The Owls are level on points with Bristol City in the league as they eye a place in the top six as well.
Smith, who is 33-years-old, is out of contract at the end of this season and he is due to become a free agent as things stand. He has been with the Yorkshire club since joining them in 2022 and he has since scored 30 goals in 111 games in all competitions.
The forward is an experienced operator in the Football League and has played over 550 games. He has had spells in the past with the likes of Charlton Athletic, Swindon Town and Rotherham United.
