Sunderland, Leeds United and Coventry City are monitoring Oxford United midfielder Tyler Goodrham, as per Football Insider.
Sunderland are among a host of clubs looking to strengthen their ranks this month and with promotion in their sights, SAFC seem to be taking this January window very seriously.
However, they aren’t without competition both in the league and in the transfer market.
Leeds United and Coventry City are also eyeing a move for the U’s attacking midfielder with the former firmly in the race for a top two spot and the latter struggling for form this year.
Goodrham, 21, has six goal contributions so far this season for Oxford United. His efforts and output going forward have helped his side avoid a relegation battle so far following their League One promotion.
However, reports from Football Insider suggest the academy graduate may be on the move soon with three big Championship clubs tracking him this month.
A tough deal to complete?
Transfers in January are typically harder to pull off, but there are a few factors which may make this one tricky.
