”Skellefteå AIK trotsar logiken”
This was AIK’s “Jocke” tribute – minute by minute
“Players need to look at themselves in the mirror”
Skellefteå paid tribute to the legend Joakim Lindström.
Then the champions were humiliated by newcomer Brynäs on home ice.
– We just don’t seem to be getting the hang of it, says coach Andreas Falk after the game.
Skellefteå AIK has produced talent after talent in recent years and the A-team includes young players such as Frans Haara, Rasmus Bergqvist, Måns and Zeb Forsfjäll, Axel Sandin-Pallikka and Oscar Voullet. All of them are predicted to have a bright future by many.
Something that also applies to Skellefteå’s Valter Lindberg , 18.
“How happy I will be”
The center from Burträsk scored his third point of the season and his first goal ever in the SHL when, with good help from veteran Marcus Eriksson, he managed to outsmart Ludvig Persson in the Brynäs goal. Success for the fourth chain.
– How happy I feel in my hockey heart when young players get to score their first goal, says expert Per Svartvadet.
The goal was the equalizer in the big match against Brynäs, a match that was prompted and greatly influenced by the fine tribute to Skellefteå legend Joakim Lindström.
In the first period, Brynäs took the lead through Tyler Vesel.
Halfway into the second half, Jack Kopacka managed to find Bobby Trivigno with a brilliant pass. Trivigno then managed to put the puck in to make it 2–1 Brynäs, this in a period where Skellefteå pressed for the lead goal.
