Ohio State had wins over Tennessee, Oregon, and Texas before topping Notre Dame to take home the trophy. It was a roller-coaster of a season for Ohio State, who lost to Michigan in the regular season finale. After the loss, head coach Ryan Day had people questioning whether or not he was the right man for the job.

Now, he is a national champion, and the energy is through the roof at Ohio State. It is a strong vote of confidence from Henry, who has a five-star composite rating and is the No. 1 WR in the class of 2026, per 247Sports.

Henry also reposted several posts on his timeline, including from five-star Class of 2025 cornerback Devin Sanchez, who wrote “Now it’s my time the page has turned.”

Henry committed to Ohio State in July 2023, although he has picked up offers from Oregon, Alabama, Georgia, Texas and others since then.

It’s also worth noting that Henry is slated to visit Oregon, although his comment about Day and his reposts on his X page certainly makes it seem that he feels great about his Ohio State commitment.

The third-year head coach led the Fighting Irish to the National Championship game this season, where they lost a close one against No. 6 Ohio State. This team accomplished a lot, winning the Sugar Bowl and the Orange Bowl en route to Atlanta.
