Deion Colzie - Notre Dame Fighting Irish Wide Receiver - ESPN

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish concluded the college football season as the national championship runner-ups, to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Notre Dame finished the season with a 14-2 record, defeating Indiana, Georgia and Penn State in the College Football Playoff. Following a phenomenal year for Notre Dame, albeit a national title loss, a few players announced their decisions to transfer. On Monday, wide receiver Deion Colzie made his official decision, transferring to Miami (Ohio) after four years at Notre Dame, per Pete Nakos.

Colzie finished the 2024 college football season with one touchdown and 41 yards on five receptions. He capped off his career with the Fighting Irish, posting three touchdowns and 345 yards on 21 receptions.Deion Colzie, Notre Dame, Wide Receiver

He was originally recruited to Notre Dame as the No. 14 wide receiver and No. 117 overall player in the class of 2021, per 247Sports. Colzie is now headed to the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks, who finished the season as the No. 1 team in the MAC with a 9-5 overall record and a 7-1 mark in conference play. Miami (Ohio) ended the season with a 43-17 loss to Colorado State in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl.
