Everton and Liverpool played out an entertaining 2-2 draw and tensions boiled over after the game on Wednesday night.

Tensions boiled between Curtis Jones and Abdoulaye Doucoure after the full-time whistle and this saw players and staff of both sides getting involved.

Arne Slot also said a few words to Michael Oliver and he ended up getting sent off himself with footage emerging of the chaos post game.

To which Michael Owen responded: “Doucoure, you can’t do that. That’s dangerous. You can’t condone Curtis Jones either.”

Michael Oliver had plenty to do not just in the game but after the game too as there was plenty of drama everywhere.

After the full-time whistle, Oliver brandished red cards to four different people in a shocking turn of affairs.

As many expected, Doucoure and Jones were the two to get sent off but Arne Slot also was shown a red card for something he said to the referee.

Along with the Dutchman, his assistant Sipke Hulshoff was also given a red as stewards had to separate the two sets of teams.
