West Ham vs Leicester City final injury update as 6 ruled out and 3 doubts
West Ham are back in action on Thursday night when they face strugglers Leicester City at the London Stadium. The Hammers will be looking to build on that big win over Arsenal last time out, hoping to get to the 40-point mark sooner than later.
Leicester are currently five points from safety and showing few signs of hope. The Foxes need to get going quickly if they want a chance of survival, and that could make them dangerous. Here we round up the final injury news ahead of this one.
Issahaku Fatawu – Out
Ricardo Pereira – Out
This one will come a little soon for Pereira. Van Nistelrooy said last week: “Ricardo is making good progress in his comeback. He’s part of team training. Hopefully, in the coming weeks, that can be more, and he can be part of games as well.”
James Justin – Doubt
Van Nistelrooy said before this one: “We’re doing everything we can to get him fit for Thursday. That’s yesterday, today, tomorrow. It’s still a work in progress…There’s no news yet, but we’re doing everything we can.”
Okoli is a fresh doubt after picking up a knock. He will be assessed heading into the game.
Michail Antonio – Out
Antonio is out long term. He is currently in Dubai and back doing some jogging.
Crysencio Summerville – Out
Potter said last week: “Cry is making progress, but a similar timeline, and we’re looking at the other side of the international break.”
Potter said ahead of this game: “Both players are progressing but won’t make the squad on Thursday. Vladi certainly has a chance for Newcastle, and Lucas, we’ll have to keep an eye on him.”
The same as above applies for Coufal.
Fullkrug is out longer term with no clear return date currently.

Tom Skinner hits back at Sean Whetstone after West Ham footage
Tom Skinner and West Ham insider Sean Whetstone have been involved in social media drama.
The former Apprentice candidate is a well-known Hammers supporter and is involved in charity work involving the club and regularly shares his love for the East London outfit online.
However, a social media post has sparked controversy after Whetstone replied with criticism to footage shared by Skinner.
West Ham controversy emerges online
The argument started when Whetstone replied to a post from Skinner of his child being a mascot at the Brentford match on 15 February.
The Hammers insider responded (26 February) saying that Irons supporters have been told the waiting list to be a mascot is closed and mascots have to be a minumum of six-years-old, accusing Skinner of receiving special treatment due to his ‘celebrity’ status.
However, Skinner fired back, saying: “I managed the team in the USA, I done some social media work for the club , I hosted a charity event, I help them out with a few bits and hosted the West Ham Christmas party over the past couple of years.
“I didn’t want paying or charge a fee. I just asked that my son get to become a mascot, I waited a year to do this aswell.
“Please don’t try make out I’m getting special treatment, when I’m not. I pay my season ticket price every year and have done since I was a kid.”
West Ham need ‘celebrity’ supporters
Having celebrity supporters is never a bad thing, they help to promote the club in new regions of the world and ultimately can bring on more bandwagon fans to watch the club.
