PFF: Top NFL Superstar Could Be Available for Trade – 5 Logical Fits

The top NFL trade candidate could be available next month during the 2025 Draft this offseason and these teams could pursue him.

PFF believes top superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill could be available for a trade as the Dolphins may have motivation to move him. According to Pro Football Focus, the Miami Dolphins don’t have a lot of trade assets than Hill who has been in several rumors since last year. Hill did tease speculation he could move on after a frustrating 2024 campaign with the Dolphins but quickly reiterating he’s open to staying. However, no one should guarantee he will be a Dolphin any longer as there’s a special saying, especially in this league “Never say never.”

Originally selected in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the former West Alabama product became one of the fastest wide receivers for the Kansas City Chiefs winning a Super Bowl and earning eight Pro Bowl nods. If the Dolphins make available, there could be numerous teams who could make heavy offers that Miami probably won’t turn down. Unfortunately, the speedster recorded one of the worst PFF receiving grades during the 2024 season which seems uncommon being that Hill is probably one of the greatest athletes to touch the field. As of this posting, the Dolphins aren’t trading Hill anytime soon but at the right deal, they could ship to these five teams.

Possible Next Teams

Los Angeles Chargers

The new Los Angeles Chargers free agent has been a disappointment this offseason. After signing Mike Williams and Tyler Conklin, it would only give quarterback Justin Herbert average breathing room for the aerial attack. The Chargers need a game-changer and the only way they could do that is through a trade. They had their eyes on DK Metcalf but failed to get him so they could turn the page and pursue Tyreek Hill.

Baltimore Ravens

There were rumors this offseason that Hill could land with the Ravens to team up with MVP Lamar Jackson. This could still be possible despite signing veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. He’s only around on a one-year deal for a Super Bowl so the Ravens could perhaps add Hill for long-term relief to contend against other AFC competition like the Chiefs and Bills.

Kansas City Chiefs

Speaking of the Chiefs, it wouldn’t be surprising if the team winds up pursuing a way to try to trade for Hill in a potential reunion in the NFL Draft. It will take a few first-round picks but it would be a significant chemistry upgrade for Patrick Mahomes who may lose Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy to potential suspensions. If they avoid getting in trouble, the team would be in good business with four speedsters Rice, Worthy, Marquise Brown and Hill.

Buffalo Bills

Don’t count out the Buffalo Bills making a trade happen to finally push them for Super Bowl contention. After giving Josh Allen a record-setting contract, they will put their quarterback in the best position to win. There’s no sign of the team re-signing Amari Cooper so Hill would be an efficient upgrade that would change the landscape of this organization.

Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders are in the best position to win a Super Bowl one day. Quarterback Jayden Daniels is getting better with each rep but trading for Deebo Samuel could be a concern. The team may be just testing the waters but if he doesn’t excel, the Commanders should probably go all in and trade for Hill to push them for a Super Bowl to end the drought.
