QB Deshaun Watson does not practice Wednesday

Trade Proposal Gets Dolphins Game Changing Pass Rusher

The Miami Dolphins have had some defensive issues for years now and it has held them back from being serious contenders year after year. They already made some signings that have helped them improve in the secondary and at linebacker, but there is still a very important hole left for them to fill. They had one of the worst pass rushes in the NFL last year and some may consider that the most important part of a defense. The Dolphins lacked pressure which allowed opposing QBs to tear them up and break them down. The Dolphins brought back most of their offense and seem to be trying to contend, and to do that they need to get an elite pass rusher. There are no elite pass rushers left in free agency, and it is very unlikely they land Abdul Carter unless they trade up so they have to make some kind of move to land an elite pass rusher for their defensive line. Luckily for the Dolphins one of the best teams of the 2020’s is falling apart and seems to be selling all of their pieces. That would be the San Francisco 49ers who made two Super Bowls in the last five years but have decided to finally start over after falling short in last year’s Super Bowl and falling apart this past season. The 49ers have already lost key players like Deebo Samuel and Dre Greenlaw and it is likely a few other veterans will want out if they still want a chance to compete. One of the players who is still on the 49ers roster and is also one of the best defensive players in the whole NFL is Nick Bosa.

Browns' Deshaun Watson Delivers Message During Injury Recovery

Bosa has played all six of his years with the 49ers and has been a Pro Bowler every year except his second year when he tore his ACL, playing in only two games. Bosa has won Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and has been All-Pro First Team once in his six-year career. He is one of the most dominant pass rushers in the NFL and he is on pace to be one of the best to ever do it. With Bosa being 27 and entering his prime, it is doubtful he will want to waste those years on a rebuilding 49ers team. This is where the Dolphins can make a move to acquire Bosa to help them get over the edge, and Bosa surely wouldn’t mind moving to the nice weather in Miami. The Dolphins have one of the most explosive offenses in the league and they are some pass rush and some safeties away from being a pretty complete team. Bosa could be the pass rusher that pushes their defense over the edge of mediocrity and makes

the Dolphins a true contender in the AFC. Bosa played in 14 games last year where he was able to record 52 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, nine sacks, one pass deflection, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery as well. Bosa was one of the lone bright spots for the 49ers last year and if brought to Miami he could be a real game changer for this defense.
