Will Aimson: Exeter City defender has red card ban overturned
Will Aimson will be available to face Barnsley on Saturday after his three-match ban for a red card was overturned.
The 29-year-old was sent off and suspended for a tackle on Charlton Athletic’s Alfie May in the second half of their midweek League One game.
Exeter trailed 2-1 when their captain was sent off, and went on to lose 4-1 at The Valley.
The club successfully appealed against the ban after supplying evidence.
After the match, Grecians boss Gary Caldwell said it was “clear” that Aimson had won the ball in the challenge.
