Can leave Skellefteå – after one match
The 39-year-old goalkeeper David Rautio has become a bit of an expert at jumping in when there is a crisis between the posts. The time with Skellefteå AIK for this time is now over.
The veteran goalkeeper has jumped into both Skellefteå AIK and SHL competitor Luleå in recent seasons when the respective teams needed a reserve when one of the regular cage keepers was injured.
Skellefteå AIK’s goalkeepers Linus Söderström and Gustaf Lindvall have both been away during the start of the season and then Rautio has been there as backup. There has been one match from the start: the 0-5 loss away to the German Fishtown Penguins in the CHL.
Now the short-term contract with Skellefteå is over and Rautio has to leave the club as Gustaf Lindvall is fully back.

The Skellefteå AIK talents selected for the small crowns
On Monday afternoon, the Swedish U18 national team presented its national team squad ahead of the last matches before the U18 WC this spring.
It features the Skellefteå AIK trio Love Härenstam, Zeb Lindgren and Viktor Klingsell.
The trio belongs to Skellefteå AIK’s J20, which defeated Timrå on Sunday.
All three, despite their young age, have had time for quite a few international matches. Härenstam has appeared in 22 matches for blue and yellow, while Lindgren has made 24 international appearances.
The forward team Klingsell, in turn, has managed 42 games and scored 55 points.
The small crowns will play the junior A world challenge in Canada. The tournament runs between 9–15 December.
SK Lejon crushed the jumbos in the table – six different goal scorers
On Sunday, SK Lejon took the bus west for a meeting with winless table jumbo Vilhelmina.
And the trip paid off.
After the first period, they had taken the lead 2–1, and in the second came the jolt.
18 seconds into the middle act, Tim Furtenback had made it 3–1 – and before the period was over, what would become the final score had been determined: 7–1.
