BAMA in the NFL: Najee Harris, Jahmyr Gibbs, Brian Robinson all score touchdowns in Week 10
In the NFL’s Week 10: Najee Harris, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Brian Robinson Jr. all scoring touchdowns, continued quarterback struggles for Bryce Young and Mac Jones, and Minkah Fitzpatrick helped the Steelers win
Let’s power rank the Alabama running backs currently in the NFL after 10 weeks:
1. Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans
He’s still King Henry, with 625 rushing yards — second-most in the league — at 4.2 per carry through nine games. Just four rushing touchdowns, but he’s being used as a receiver more frequently this season.
2. Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders
Jacobs has an argument for No. 1. He’s at 622 rushing yards and five touchdowns, and he’s a tremendous receiving threat too, 30 catches for 253 yards. He’s helped fuel a two-game win streak that has the Raiders in second place in the AFC West and just outside the wildcard hunt.
3. Brian Robinson Jr., Washington Commanders
As versatile a weapon as there is in the NFL right now. Robinson has 485 rushing yards, 256 receiving yards, and eight total touchdowns. The Commanders are only 4-6, but Robinson is playing great this season.
4. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
Could be third (maybe should be?) if not for missing a few games, but he’s been ultra-productive in a high-powered Lions offense: 476 rushing yards, 31 catches for 200 receiving yards, and four touchdowns (all of which have come in the last three games).
5. Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns
Ford above Najee? The production says yes. Ford stepped in for an injured Nick Chubb and has put up 673 total yards of offense: 532 rushing, 141 receiving, four total touchdowns. Dude is averaging 4.6 yards a touch for a Browns team that should make the playoffs this year.
6. Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers
He’s rushed for 464 yards and three touchdowns, and has also hauled in 18 catches for 115 receiving yards for a Steelers team that just seems to keep winning games.
There’s also Buffalo’s Damien Harris, who’s on injured reserve, and Kenyan Drake, who’s bounced between Baltimore and Cleveland, but 10 weeks into the NFL season, we feel good about this order — for now.

Here’s the full rundown from Week 10:
Bears 16, Panthers 13
Bryce Young’s struggles continued. He went 21-for-38 for 185 yards, rushed three times for 18 yards, but was sacked three times. The Panthers led this game 10-3 early in the second quarter, but the Bears, led by Eddie Jackson and his two tackles, scored 13 unanswered and won last Thursday.
Colts 10, Patriots 6
Mac Jones struggled, too. He was efficient, 15-for-20, and did fine running, three times for 25 yards, but he threw for just 170 yards, was sacked five times, and threw an ugly red-zone pick that resulted in him being benched. The Pats are now 2-8.
Steelers 23, Packers 19
For the entire season, the Steelers have been collectively out-gained by 881 yards, collectively outscored by 26 points, but after this four-point win over the Packers, they’re 6-3 and, currently, in line for a playoff spot.
Against the Packers, Najee Harris piled up 96 total yards — 82 rushing, 14 receiving — and a touchdown, Levi Wallace recorded a tackle, and Minkah Fitzpatrick missed this game with a strained hamstring but he helped the Steeler defense by convincing defensive coordinator Teryl Austin to call an audible before the game-sealing interception.
Texans 30, Bengals 27
How about Houston? The Texans scored 20 unanswered points to lead 20-7 in the third quarter, then Matt Ammendola hit the walk-off field goal as time expired. Along the way, John Metchie caught two passes for 25 yards, Christian Harris recorded five tackles, Will Anderson had two QB hits and three pressures, and Houston, led by head coach DeMeco Ryans, is now 5-4. They haven’t been above .500 this deep into the season since 2019.
Buccaneers 20, Titans 6
Derrick Henry mustered just 20 total yards — 24 rushing, then -4 on a single reception — as the Buccaneers scored 17 in a row and dropped the Titans to 3-6, which now includes an 0-5 mark on the road.
49ers 34, Jaguars 3
Rough day for the Jags. Calvin Ridley recorded two catches for 20 yards, but this one was all San Francisco.
Vikings 27, Saints 19
Neither team has a former Alabama player currently on the roster, but the Vikings have won five in a row and are now 6-4 overall. The Josh Dobbs story continues to be very fun to watch.
Browns 33, Ravens 31
How about the Browns? Down 17-3 in the first quarter, Cleveland scored 16 in a row in the fourth to rally and win. Amari Cooper recorded six catches for 98 yards, Jerome Ford rushed for 107, and Dalvin Tomlinson recorded a tackle. For Baltimore, Marlon Humphrey recorded three tackles and a tackle for loss.
