Arsenal are back in action on Saturday when they face Everton looking to remain in the Premier League title race. The Gunners are now six points behind leaders Liverpool having played a game more, and the margin for error is getting smaller by the week.
Mikel Arteta’s men did pick up a big Champions League win over Monaco during the week, and they will need to follow that up with a win over an Everton side just four points above the drop. Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams.
Timothy Iroegbunam – Out
Everton boss Sean Dyche has said: “Tim is a bit of a way behind, and so is Jimmy Garner, but they’re in the process of getting back fit.”
James Garner – Out
The same applies to Garner, who has a lower back injury.
White is out until the spring after undergoing knee surgery. Arteta said: “Ben is going to be out for months. We had to make a decision in the last few weeks, unfortunately. It got to a point where we had to protect the player, and we decided to do the surgery.”
Gabriel Magalhaes – Doubt
Gabriel was not risked against Monaco but he may well return for this one.
