This was AIK’s “Jocke” tribute – minute by minute

For 25 minutes, Skellefteå AIK would thank star Joakim Lindström for eleven seasons with 684 games and 626 points. There were many emotional speeches and tributes on the ice – and a huge cheer at Västra Stå. Here you can relive the ceremony in both text and images.

The center from Burträsk scored his third point of the season and his first goal ever in the SHL when, with good help from veteran Marcus Eriksson, he managed to outsmart Ludvig Persson in the Brynäs goal. Success for the fourth chain.

Brynäs also made it 3–1 in the second half through Linus Ölund, with three minutes left to play. In the last period, two goals came through Tyler Vesel and Charles Edouard D’astous, and the newcomer completely crushed Skellefteå after the legend Jocke Lindström was praised in the arena before the match. Brynäs is thus the league leader with a five-point margin to Färjestad.
