Bournemouth: Mark Travers recalled from loan spell at Stoke - BBC SportThe Irishman will head to the north east for the rest of the season, with no option or obligation for the Championship club to buy the keeper at the conclusion of the loan.

Travers has largely played second fiddle to on-loan Kepa Arrizabalaga at the Cherries this season, but he has impressed when called upon.

In total, he has played five times for the Cherries this term, including both Chelsea fixtures, with Kepa unable to play against his parent club.

Travers joined Bournemouth’s academy in 2016 and progressed through to the first team, making his debut in 2019 as a teenager, the first teenage keeper to start in a Premier League game since Joe Hart in 2006.

He has played a total of 82 times for the Cherries, and was voted the Daily Echo/Micky Cave AFC Bournemouth player of the year award at the end of the 2021/22 season as the Cherries sealed promotion back to the Premier League.
