West Ham legend Mark Noble has proven to be instrumental in completing a new signing at Rush Green.
The former Hammers captain took over as sporting director in January 2023 after ending his 472 appearance career in East London.
The 37-year-old has since worked with Tim Steidten in completing transfer business but with the German now gone, some of that responsibility has fallen on the Englishman.
It now appears that the ex-midfielder has had a telling impact for the Irons after a medical was booked ahead of a London Stadium switch.

The Scottish forward is now set to have his medical on Monday (17 February), parts of which have already gotten underway, with the Irons due to pay a compensation fee for the 18-year-old.
Noble has been very influential in completing the signing of the Hoops forward who is seen as a coup at the London Stadium given his sizable potential.
This move will only be a boost to the sporting director’s reputation as the young Scot was seen as a main target for the Irons in recent months.
