Jarrod Bowen: West Ham captain suffers fractured foot in Liverpool defeat - BBC SportGraham Potter could make utterly kamikaze move for Arsenal vs West Ham that’ll delight Mikel Arteta – view

Graham Potter faces an incredibly difficult task this weekend, with his West Ham United team set to face Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side are unbeaten in 15 Premier League games, and they haven’t lost at home in the league this season, so you don’t need me to tell you how tough it will be for Graham Potter to mastermind a win for West Ham on Saturday.

The Gunners boss told reporters this afternoon that his team will not be taking anything for granted when the Hammers turn up to The Emirates.

And despite West Ham’s struggles this season, he’s right – anything can happen in the Premier League on any given day.

The good news for the Hammers is that Arsenal’s nemesis Craig Pawson has been named as the referee for the game.

However, if he doesn’t have any decisions to make, his presence in the middle will matter little.

I would love to see us go to The Emirates and win, obviously. We did it last season, so it’s certainly possible.

However, I can’t escape the feeling that all three points will be incredibly hard to come by in north London.

Things aren’t exactly going swimmingly at the London Stadium right now, and Potter is under big pressure to start delivering results.

It has been claimed that the Hammers head coach is debating making a really bold call in order to mix things up.

The Hammers know how tough it will be to get a result against the Gunners.

Arsenal are currently in the midst of a Premier League title race, and will be desperate for all three points.

Despite the fact that Mikel Arteta will be without four of his best forwards through injury, the Gunners still have arguably the best system in the land.

It is one that’s been built to weather spells when they’re missing their key players.

On the flip-side, West Ham are in real transition right now.

Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten left an awful mess behind, and Potter has a serious task on his hands, if he is to turn things around at the London Stadium.

The Hammers are missing some key players as well, with Lucas Paqueta and Vladimir Coufal the latest names to be ruled out, joining Michail Antonio, Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug in the treatment room.

With a depleted squad at his disposal, the Hammers head coach will have to start thinking outside the box.

However, one move Potter apparently has up his sleeve may be slightly too risky, even for his standards.

Luis Guilherme apparently could start for West Ham against Arsenal this weekend.

Here’s the thing – none of us know whether or not Guilherme is actually any good.
